Here at Relever we believe that everyone has the right to fun, creative, and technical dance training. Passionate and talented dancers can be found everywhere, though not all of the them can afford the opportunity to join a team of competitive dancers.
We are proud to offer both Full and Partial Scholarships to our dance community. Whether you have little to no training, but spirit and drive, years of recreational classes with a desire to dance more, or simply the inability to afford your current dance curriculum due to financial hardships; we are here to support you!
Our process requires a few simple steps.
For Intermediate, Senior and Advanced Dancers
First: fill out the application form S2ScholarshipApplication
Second: write us an essay about all things dance related. Tell us why you love to dance. Help us understand who you are as a dancer, where dance fits into your life, how it affects you, and what your goals are. Everyone has a story, tell us yours!
Third: list all of your volunteer experience, plans to volunteer in the future, and/or ways in which you may like to volunteer with us. This gives us an opportunity to see your community spirit, your interests outside of dance, and ways you can be a bigger part of our team.
Fourth: call or email us to schedule your Audition, this is an assessment opportunity to see where you would best fit into our company and to see which classes are best suited to meet your dance abilities and help you reach your goals.
After your audition we will contact you and your parent for a meeting. We will discuss your essay, volunteer sheet, audition and opportunities with Relever.
We’re looking forward to Receiving your Application Package!
For Junior and Mini Dancers, and Parents Applying on Behalf of their Child
First: fill out the application form S2ScholarshipApplication
Second: either a) have your child draw us a picture of themselves dancing, and help them write a few words answering the questions “What is Dance? What Do I Love Most About Dance” or b) let us know why this is important to you, what do you hope your child gains from this experience.
Third: call or email us to schedule an Audition, we will see which competitive company, technique class, and/or ballet level your child is best suited for.
After your audition we will have a quick meeting regarding the costs not covered by the scholarship, fundraising opportunities, and any other questions or concerns you may have.
